Spacious and perfect for a group of 10.
The Tipsy Bear cabin was perfect for our group of friends (5 couples) looking to enjoy the area with hiking, shopping, wine tasting, and just hanging out. When we weren't out exploring, the women used the hot tub, which was a nice amenity, we grilled out or used the stocked kitchen for cooking most meals, played cornhole, built a fire in the firepit every evening, played arcade games in the basement and enjoyed beautiful sunsets at the community observation deck a short distance from the cabin. Check-in was easy with great communication from the host, Milay. As fun as our week was, we did however, have a couple of minor hiccups. The outdoor garbage cans were completely full when we went to put our first trash bag in, but on the third day of our stay, they were emptied. Also, one of the support bars under the bed in the basement broke when one of our guys sat down on the edge of the bed. It looked like it had already been fixed at least once, as the board was too short, so a filler piece was used with just nails that would not hold much weight. Luckily the guys in our party were able to temporarily fix the problem for us to finish out our stay, so everything worked out. Photos were sent to the owner, and she was very apologetic, so I have no doubt the problem will be properly fixed as soon as possible. I would definitely stay at the Tipsy Bear again as it is located in a beautiful area and is a lovely cabin that is well stocked and tastefully decorated; however, with that said, I would also like to mention one other thing. Due to the construction of the cabin (using logs and wood with obvious cracks), there isn't much privacy as far as sound goes. The couples upstairs could hear everything that went on downstairs including conversations, snoring, bathroom noises and vice versa. We managed just fine by having our own fans and using a sound machine app, but it may be something to consider ahead of time if traveling with a large group.
Family Spring Break
This beautiful mountain home conveniently located in the North Georgia Mountains was the perfect spot for a mutigenerational family gathering. The home is spotless and well appointed with amazing thoughtful extras for adults and kids alike. The location is perfect for short trips to wineries, hiking areas and waterfalls. I will definitely visit this beautiful cabin again. LOVED IT!
Family Getaway
Beautiful home, amazing getaway for our 2 young families. Quintessential luxury cabin, decorated exquisitely, meticulous attention to every detail, so many amenities like a hot chocolate bar and popcorn machine for the kids. The downstairs game room and bunk area were perfect for kids. Adults enjoyed the huge outdoor living spaces from the hot tub to the outdoor tv, solo stove and fire pit. Could not have asked for a more perfect home and host. We would definitely stay again!

Great house for a large group! Well maintained, updated and very clean. Lots to do in the house (games, hot tub, fire, coffee nook, etc). We had a great time!

Birthday fun
Just got back from an incredible weekend at our cabin in Talking Rock, Georgia, and I can't stop raving about it! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The house itself was amazing! Spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated – it felt like a home away from home. The game room was a highlight for sure! We had a blast playing air hockey, and enjoying some friendly competition. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.Our host was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our trip even more enjoyable.I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a get a cabin in North Georgia!

Vacation in the mountains
Beautifully decorated, well stocked, great layout & very timely host response from Milay!We enjoyed the game room, living spaces and outdoor spaces. The mountain views from the community lookout were beautiful. Close to Ellijay or Jasper and the little gem Talking Rock.

We loved staying at Milay’s house. It was nestled beautifully in the mountains with gorgeous views. The hot tub at night was so relaxing, the house was spotless, Milay was very kind and communicative and the abundance of things to do in the basement was amazing. The location was quiet, furniture was comfortable and more than enough space for everyone. I’d absolutely recommend this house and would book it again!
